As some of you may know, the look of our store has changed over the past couple of weeks. The maternity retail section of my store has been scaled down a bit, but we continue to have a great selection of your favorite items and brands, including: Michael Stars, Belly Bandits, Bella Bands, maternity denim, and more.
I have told most of you that we were going to close our store completely, and sell our maternity and infant items on-line only. However, in conjunction with my family, we came up with a great idea.
Let me tell you about my family's business. If you are a native of Jacksonville, you may have heard of Solomon's. Solomon Ventures is a retail store that buys and sells freight salvage, insurance losses and bankruptcies from all over the nation. They have two locations where you can find name-brand products and other items at great savings. They add new merchandise every day, which keeps their inventory fresh. Plus, they have closeout pricing and bargain specials everyday.
My grandfather, George Solomon, opened Solomon's in 1944. My dad, Raymond, and my brother Kelly, have run Solomon's for the past few decades, and have even expanded the store greatly in recent years. If you have been there, then you know that every trip to Solomon's is different. You never know what great things you will find until you step into the store.
My dad thought it would be a good idea to expand his store even further by opening a location in San Marco! The front of the store is filled everyday with new items from Solomon Ventures! My remaining maternity inventory is in the back section of the store. Please stop by to say "Hi" the next time you are in San Marco!
